NAPSA makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, in respect of the Certified Sweeper Operator Course identified hereunder. As a condition of participation in the training program, participant hereby agrees to release, discharge and covenant not-to-sue, and further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NAPSA, its directors, officers, committee members, employees, agents and representatives (“released parties”) for any and all claims that arise or alleged to have arisen or in any way relate to participation in the training program, including claims for liability caused in whole or in part by acts or omissions of the released parties. The NAPSA Certified Sweeper Operator Courses are tools to expose those working in the broad sweeping industry to concepts and ideas intended to:
  • Aid and speed up their training
  • Provide a common vocabulary
  • Graphically illustrate ideas
  • Pool knowledge from multiple sources, locations, and environments.
  • Provide a vehicle by which employees can demonstrate they have been exposed to a large block of knowledge necessary to advancement in the industry.
NAPSA Certified Sweeper Operator Courses do not guarantee that the program is:
  • A compilation of every item needed for safe operation of motor vehicles or other equipment.
  • A complete list of knowledge needed to operate any vehicle.
  • The only training needed. The Courses are only a supplement to an employer’s training, common sense, and experience.
  • Some recommendations, items, practices, or concepts are very different from company to company or municipal entity to municipal entity.  Standards and practice may vary for a number of factors, including from township to township, county to county, state to state, project to project, vehicle manufacturer to vehicle manufacturer.
  • Participant understands they are responsible for their safety.
  • The participant understands the entity where they work (Public or Private)  is responsible for the policies, procedures, and practices by which the entity operates.
